Fisantekraal is a well established private nature reserve on the western border of Stilbaai town, and about 2 km from the sea. The reserve are divided into 46 plots, average size 3 hectares each. 13 houses were built with all basic facilities provided. Access is regulated by a security gate.

An elected Management committee regulates all activities and administration. Owners must adhere to the Constitution and strict building regulations. These allow 1200 sq m of a plot to be cleaned for a single dwelling which has to blend into nature.

Large areas in the reserve are covered by dense bush, whereas open fields supply sufficient grazing for few Eland, Bontebok and local Bushbuck. Animals are allowed to roam all over the area and between houses.

Quiet - animals and owners are sleeping here !
